Cozy games to end the day with

Not every game needs to test your reflexes. Some nights I just want something soft to hold while my brain powers down, and the cozy corner of mobile gaming has grown a lot.

Exploration adventures work best for this. No fail states, gentle puzzles, a world that waits patiently while you wander. Tidecaller Journey became my go-to for exactly this reason.

Management sims can be cozy too, as long as the economy isn't stressful. Building something slowly, with no clock ticking, is weirdly relaxing after a long day.

The rule I use: if a game raises my pulse, it's a morning game. If it lowers it, it goes in the bedtime rotation.
